The 2018 Bahrain International Gardens Show carried the slogan "Food Safety and Human Health" and focused on good and sustainable agricultural practices and standards that ensure the safety of food, and workers that produce it. The impact of pre- and post-harvest factors on the quality of agricultural products were discussed, as well as good agricultural practices that ensure the safety of food within the environmental sustainability framework.
