Food Safety On Farm

Food Safety Begins on the Farm: From Farm to Table Food Safety is a scientific method of handling, preparing and storing foodstuffs in ways preventing food borne diseases. Farm-to-table is a method used in food safety to reduce health hazards transmitted by food, which can penetrate the food chain and continue to linger on the farm. Water, fertilizers, pesticides, soil conditioners, agricultural field control, harvesting processes and workers are all important factors affecting the product's safety.
