Applying for Agricultural Loans

Agricultural loans are offered by Bahrain Development Bank with 0% interest rate to be used for the development of agriculture production in Bahrain. The maximum facility amount is BHD 15,000.

Who can apply:

The applicant should be a Bahraini.
The applicant should own or lease an agricultural land.
The purpose of the facility should be for development of agricultural production and not other irrelevant activities like constructing a swimming pool, etc.

Required Documents:

(Upon review of the documents, further documents might be required)

● Application form
● Benefit form
● Copy of Smart Card & details
● Assignment/ Undertaking for salary transfer, where applicable
● Land Lease Agreement and copy of Land Title Deed
● Quotation for the purchase required
● Bank statements for six months

In Case of Applications Backed by Guarantors:

● Application form
● Benefit form
● Copy of Smart Card & details
● Copy of Passport
● Bank Account statements for the last six months of the guarantors
● Salary certificate and/or financial statements
