Agricultural loans are offered by Bahrain Development Bank with 0% interest rate to be used for development of agriculture production in Bahrain. The maximum facility amount is BHD 15,000. Who can apply: The applicant should be a Bahraini The Applicant should own or lease an agricultural land. The purpose of the facility should be for development of agricultural production and not other irrelevant activities like constructing a swimming pool etc. The minimum amount is BHD5,000 and 50% of the profit is subsidized by Tamkeen. This is usually used to finance a specific asset, such as plant or machinery, or working capital loans with a comfortable repayment and grace period for sectors like Agribusiness, Manufacturing, ICT, Private Education, Healthcare, Trading and Transportation.
